Owing about 9 hectares of land, Tim Eddy and Hannah Fuller decided not to turn this virgin piece of nature into an estate or a an out-of-town residence. They considered ecological compatibility, sustainability and low costs and built a 19 sq.m. house using secondary raw materials.
This tiny but still amazing house is 15 minutes from Tahoe in California. It is surrounded by beautiful old pines and stunning mountains.
Hannah’s father is an experienced constructor so it isn’t surprize that she followed his steps and designed the house by her own.
From the outside the dwelling looks tiny but inside the owners designed the space very smartly.
Salvage used for construction of their house the couple found in the Internet (craigslist.org). Notably, they got all the materials for free.
After construction of the house young people confess that their outlook changed as well as their attitude to money and their lifestyle in general.
