This is an office that was converted into a living-work space. The project was designed by Armando Elias and Hugo D’Enjoy, Studio craft design. It represents a great solution for the residents – the space shortage.
The design is penetrating; it presents the space utilization as a very innovative perspective. This project uses one single volume as the element dividing sleeping, dining, living, and storage and working spaces. The wall that connects a dining room and a bathroom has a staircase, which leads to the mezzanine level. The walls and roof eaves are absolutely white. A color palate of a single tone allows the owner to personalize the space and the staircase. It also serves as one wall of the dining room and is used up to store things. The loft is insulated from the outside by wooden floor thus maintaining the contemporary charm of the premise.
