This splendid penthouse in Serbian capital Belgrade occupies the underroof space of an old building. The apartment has a rustic style design that emanates modern charm and style.
The authors of the project decided to restore original elements of the building that was constructed at the beginning of the 20th century.
PUJO.RS studio designers were commited to preserve the apartment’s rustic atmosphere and add light and spaciousness to the entire space.
Living room, kitchen and dining room are one big premise divided from the entry zone by light white columns that don’t overload the space.
One of the original elements of this old building are rough wooden beams – the designers resored them too and painted slightly white. This allowed achieving harmony with the flooring made of specially processed Austrian bleached oak.
The fireplace by famous French manufacturer Focus additionally serves as a devider between living room and kitchen zones.
Authentic dome in the master’s batroom is cased with wood and made in full compliance with the original appearance that brings special exotic charm to the room.
