Cool idea of Ukrainian interior designers – conversion of a two-level space into a three-level residential apartment.
The area of this apartment makes up 120 sq.m. The main task for designers was to make a comfortable and cozy multilevel space fully equipped for living, creative work and rest.
Initially the plan of the apartment was two-story. But due to the five-meter ceilings the designers managed to break the space into three levels thus separating the private areas from the guest ones.
The first level features a living-room, a dining-room, a kitchen, an office, a guest water closet and a dressing-room. The second level includes a parents’ bedroom, a kids’ room, a dressing-room and a bathroom. There is also a spacious terrace. The third level is occupied by a bedroom for guests and a dressing-room.
The interior design is made in a bright color palette with the accent on natural materials. The owners refused using curtains for the windows so the apartment is full of natural light.
The budget was pretty small so the designers sought for efficient solutions. The building materials and furniture were purchased in Ukraine. The cabinet furniture was made by exclusive sketches of the authors of this design-project at the Ukrainian plants.
