TOWNHOUSE IN NORTH LONDON BY LLI
DESIGN

15 July 2014 |

This 3000 square foot townhouse located in North London’s Crouch End was turned over to LLI Design in the build stage. The owners wanted to raise the drama in some areas and at the same time maintain a warm and livable residence.

Original exterior lifts a double height living space cased in walls of windows. These windows open up to the backyard garden area.

The kitchen and dining rooms are at the bottom floor. There is an open tread staircase, which leads above, to the main living room. The white space is airy and light being perfect for communication. Contrast of a black kitchen island on the white background helps the premise not to dissolve in this white sea.

The stairs have a glass banister that doesn’t clutter up the space and helps the staircase not to overwhelm the room.

The ground floor has large tiles in the interior. Such tiles are also at patio helping to expand the living space.
