A Mediterranean club house in the center of Kiev

When we travel around the world enjoying architecture and comfort of the European capitals, we always wish to come back home.

If your hometown is Kiev, there are beautiful parks, domes of numerous temples and cathedrals, islands and banks of the powerful Dnieper river, picturesque houses of Podol, modern newbuildings of Pechersk, and stylish restaurants here.

But today the architectural choice of IDEASDESIGN is the Canadian-Ukrainian luxury club house Liberty Estate made in Mediterranean style, which is a completely new format for the Ukrainian capital.

The house is situated in the parklands of Khoryva hill with a stunning panoramic view of Podol. The four-storey building of the complex stands apart differing significantly by its appearance. The exterior is made in Mediterranean style – the front is finished with organic eco-friendly shell rock.

It is not accidental that we’ve chosen shell rock for finishing – 70% of its composition is iodine minerals that reduce radiation background. Due to its structure shell rock is a natural ventilator that helps cooling the internal sides of the walls in hot summer days, preventing temperature rise higher than 18 degrees. This serves as a barrier for toxic ethers formation

The house is constructed by the “green house” system, and each flat in it is controlled by the “smart house” system.

Radiation background in the house is reduced from the permissible values normal for Kiev constructors to the minimal ones. Each gram of the material used in construction passed through radiation examination. Our purpose was to create a qualitatively new and comfortable house in Ukraine with minimal electricity costs. When there is 22 degrees of frost outside, the flat keeps temperature at the level of +22, spending only 5.5 kilowatt. By Canadian standards this corresponds to the standards of the recognized “green house” system

The territory of the complex makes up 2 500 square meters. Its perimeter is fenced, provided with twenty-four-hour guard and surveillance cameras.

There are 24 flats in the building with the areas from 70 to 400 square meters. All the premises are equipped with intellectual safety, concierge-service and “smart house” systems. The complex is served by the company possessing huge experience in maintenance of the buildings of this type.

The ground floor includes three office premises and main entrances. From the first to the thirds floor there are residential apartments with spacious balcony galleries, floor-to-ceiling windows and four meter high ceilings.

All flats in Liberty Estate are opened spaces enclosed only by external walls. The final finishing is completed; the flooring is ready for covering. The flats have their own autonomous system of temperature control. And all of them offer splendid views to St. Andriy’s Church, Florivsky and Pokrovsky convents, and the streets of Podol.

Spacious halls of the building are finished with marble. The huge windows fill the corridors with plenty of natural light opening the views to the surrounding landscape.

In the underground part of the building there is a parking zone for 21 cars. The residents can go upstairs to their flats right from this parking by a quiet lift.

The courtyard serves as a closed patio. The territory looks like a small park with its garden lights, paved paths, evergreen thuyas and alpine hills.

A special touch of the complex is an equipped lounge area creating a special mood that allows forgetting about objects of the town and sinking into the atmosphere of comfort. Terrace is located in a front yard offering tremendous Kiev views.

From the back side there is a kids’ game zone with swings, chutes and a lounge corner.

The residents of the house have everything they need for comfort living in a few steps: supermarkets, a large product market, medicine establishments, schools and kindergartens.
